The Cora Chair is a hand sculpted modern accent chair featured in hard maple. This modern lounge style chair offers curved joinery expertly shaped and sanded to a smooth rounded finish. Each chair is handmade beginning from rough lumber. The seat is made from strong nylon webbing in black. Custom colors offered upon request. Inquire about additional wood species. Dimensions: 18" seat height, 20" wide, 21" deep.

Elias Furniture is a wood-design-studio in rural Northwestern New Jersey established by Matthew Elias. We focus on creating generational designs that are made to last with a timeless, modern style.

Matthew is a self taught woodworker who started Elias Furniture initially providing interior designers, contractors, and the general public with high quality custom furniture. In addition, our small batch collection that we offer continues to grow. We primarily use locally sourced hardwoods and tend to use traditional joinery methods that are both simple and strong.

As a small business in the greater NYC region we source our materials from local retailers and often use sustainable locally harvested woods. We offer regional delivery and ship nationally.

    Great to work with, super easy all around and forgiving of our many questions. My only wish is that the shelves came ready for installation with holes drilled in and brackets included. Overall though, we're loving the shelves!

    We ordered a 7 ft reclaimed wood dining room table. Matt found great reclaimed elm wood and used steel u-shaped legs. The table is wonderful! Matt was very communicative throughout the process. This was a big expense for us and we are completely satisfied!
