Sold. This atmospheric painting is part of my "Etherea" series. It's translucent layering offers mystery and subtle complexity. The details seen in the upper right corner are an intricate jumble of color shapes in rich browns, rusts, greens and turquoise. The piece is created on a wood panel constructed with a 2" cradle. The colors on the face continue around the deep edges making this painting ready to be hung without framing.

My paintings are lyrical, atmospheric abstractions of meditation and memory. They are meant as resting places, serene escapes from our hectic, complex world, entry points to the rhythms and the quiet mysteries of our lives and our search for deeper connection. These paintings, with their subtle complexity, are repeatedly layered translucently in search of radiance, nuance and depth.
