This atmospheric painting is part of my "Etherea" series. It's translucent layering, offers mystery, depth and subtle complexity. It is an entry point to a tranquil moment in our hectic lives. The colors melt into one another creating quiet energy. The sparkle of this soft, minimal painting is enhanced when hung on a dark wall. The piece is created on a wood panel constructed with a 2" cradle. The colors on the face continues around the deep edges making this painting ready to be hung without framing.

My paintings are lyrical, atmospheric abstractions of meditation and memory. They are meant as resting places, serene escapes from our hectic, complex world, entry points to the rhythms and the quiet mysteries of our lives and our search for deeper connection. These paintings, with their subtle complexity, are repeatedly layered translucently in search of radiance, nuance and depth.
