Custom Figurative Bronze Sculpture,

This family of four is created according to the customers specifications. They have seen my work in a gallery and wanted something really representing their unique family. The children ages and gender should be represented. They send me photos to go by as well. Also they liked a modern interpretation. The rustic patina is setting off the squarish shapes. They range from 3,5 to 8 inches in height. The process: First I created the wax model original. The customers were part of the creation and I have sent images of the progress. Upon approval I sent the wax to the Fine Art Casting foundry. The bronze is created using the lost wax process. Also called Investment casting (for smaller items) or ceramic shell casting. I then get the unfinished but sandblasted raw bronze back. After chasing, welding and finishing a patina is applied to create the desired look. In this example they wanted a greenish rustic patina. This bronze family can be placed on the mantel or on a shaped rock ( I have a few to choose from) . A simple brick looks nice too for the smaller versions. I have some small figurines in unlimited editions available so you could pick from these and assemble either your loving couple or a family. The least expensive family is a family of three for $290 they are no larger than 3.75". Ask me! The largest group I have created was for a teacher and her 13 pupils. All of the "kids" were generally depicted somewhat going by the class photo. That was a fun project! Also I have added the family dog and/or cat in a similar style and patina.
