Tall Yellow Dragon Sculpture

This little dragon beast is a very young one, getting into trouble by stealing more fruit than he needs. He is not as tall as the adult beasts yet but he can still make the ground shake as he runs by. Now if only he could get someone to chase him. That's why he stole all the fruit! ************************************** These dragon beasts are my favorites to make, but due to their time-consuming process to make them, they are very limited in number. The beast is hand sculpted and textured and one of a kind. The crater texture on his back was placed one small dot at a time. He was sanded and primed before painting. I then used artist grade acrylics to paint him with, in gray, yellow and unbleached titanium. He is antiqued with sepia-tinted graphite paint and sealed with several layers of matte varnish. His eyes have an extra layer of satin varnish to make them shine! He carries five strange blue fruits on a metal chain. The chain of fruits may be arranged however you wish. They can trail along the ground or wrap around his body. The long side of the chain is 12 inches long. This clay sculpture is signed and dated on the bottom of one foot. This beast is 6 inches tall, 5.5 inches long, and 3 inches wide. The strange blue fruit range from .75 to 1 inch long.
