Trumpet Flower Wall plaque, ceramic 3-d tile. The trumpet flower, Datura, or Gypsum Weed grows prolific in the southwest. This sculpture portrays the flower in bloom and it's seed pod. This is the 'seed pod series' in my recent designs. Much of my work is inspired by flora and fauna of the southwest gardens in Arizona. Dimensions: 4.5" w x 10"L x 2.5 D. It is hand built and hand glazed and kiln fired. It makes a great gift for Mother's Day, a baby shower or a housewarming gift. Designed by Robin Chlad, in Tucson, AZ.

I am a ceramic artist. I sculpt, hand build, throw on the wheel, and design hand made tile. Some of my work is functional, some is for art's sake. All of it is my passion and a gift from God.
I have 30 years of experience in clay alone. I consider myself a person that can do anything (in clay). I have many years experience in custom work, working together and creating one on one designs for clients. My designs are fun and whimsical and I enjoy making people smile. I am all about original. My inspirations come from gardens, nature, southwest desert, and other peoples art or creations.
In all my years in business, I have never had anyone complain, or need me to come back to fix something, or return a custom piece. I have letters of referrals and note cards of overjoyed thanks.
