All shipping costs are the buyers responsibility and will be added to the cost of the drawing (this may include the price of shipping materials as well).

All of my mounted drawings come ready to hang. If you choose to purchase a piece without it being mounted then you can arrange for framing with your framer of choice.

Portraits are not refundable or returnable. I work carefully with my clients to create a piece they will love. Look at my portfolio carefully, I have a specific style and cannot draw other people's styles or imitate other artists. Once a piece is being drawn I do not accept cancellations.

A Pet Portrait

If you would like to enshrine your true love for you furry friends in a memento a custom pet portrait is the perfect way to do it. These drawings are carefully drawn to be full of meaning and beauty. The compositions are constructed based upon photos but also other information such as memories, personality, colors, plants, scenery, and even accessories. I could also draw your spirit animal or a mythical beast. Pet portraits make excellent gifts!!!! Each portrait illustration is created on paper using a combination of mostly ink and gouache. Sometimes watercolor, markers, and graphite may be integrated or even a bit of collage. These drawings are available in multiple sizes (6"x8", 9"x12", 11"x 14", 12" x 18", 18" x 24"). The smaller sizes are perfect for a close-up portrait while the larger sizes are great for setting the pet(s) in an entire scene. I'll be sure to get lots of great details to fill these drawings with. These portraits feature only animals, I will do multiple animals in any size except 6"x8" . I'm a visual artist currenting residing in Portland, Oregon. I create work in a style I call Folk Surrealism using a combination of ink, gouache, and watercolor on paper. My style includes many bright colors, detailed patterns, and creatures of all sorts.

For CustomMade, my focus is on custom portraiture. I started drawing portraits a few years ago as part of a successful crowdsourcing campaign. Since drawing all of the portraits for my contributors, portrait illustration has become a large part of my artistic practice in business.

Outside portrait painting my work explores more themes such as femininity, violence, and mysticism. My work has a strong narrative drive which carries through each piece by a very thin thread.
