All shipping costs are the buyers responsibility and will be added to the cost of the drawing (this may include the price of shipping materials as well).

All of my mounted drawings come ready to hang. If you choose to purchase a piece without it being mounted then you can arrange for framing with your framer of choice.

Portraits are not refundable or returnable. I work carefully with my clients to create a piece they will love. Look at my portfolio carefully, I have a specific style and cannot draw other people's styles or imitate other artists. Once a piece is being drawn I do not accept cancellations.

Family Portrait

Let me draw your family together in a custom illustrated portrait. Whether your family is 2 people or twenty people let me create a special illustrated image of your family in a setting constructed from meaningful symbols, images, and colors. A custom illustrated family portrait can be the perfect way of remembering important family milestones or as a gift to a loved one. I will also include your pets! I work from photos as well as a series of questions discussed through e-mail where you let me know important details about each family member so that each person's unique personality can shine through. The pieces will be done on paper using ink and gouache and sometimes with with details in watercolors, graphite, and markers as well. This project uses paper, ink, gouache, and fabric covered artist boards. I consider my style Folk Surrealism. All of these pieces use ink and gouache. Pricing depends on the level od detail, amount of color added, paper size, and any mounting or framing options.

I'm a visual artist currenting residing in Portland, Oregon. I create work in a style I call Folk Surrealism using a combination of ink, gouache, and watercolor on paper. My style includes many bright colors, detailed patterns, and creatures of all sorts.

For CustomMade, my focus is on custom portraiture. I started drawing portraits a few years ago as part of a successful crowdsourcing campaign. Since drawing all of the portraits for my contributors, portrait illustration has become a large part of my artistic practice in business.

Outside portrait painting my work explores more themes such as femininity, violence, and mysticism. My work has a strong narrative drive which carries through each piece by a very thin thread.
