Lady & Gent 3-String Dulcitar
Size: 32"l x 7"w x 2"height We selected this highly stylized tin for our 3-string dulcitar because of the vibrant colors in the illustration on the top. We chose a Brazilian Cherry neck with frets seated in the pentatonic scale. This hand-made beauty has a piezo transducer pickup and 4 soundholes to increase the sound projection whether you play it acoustically or plugged in.

String Tinkers
String Tinkers are makers of cigar-box guitars, ukuleles, canjos, dulcitars and fine instruments. They are located in the "Quiet Corner" of northeast Connecticut. The instruments they create are hand-made, one-of-a-kind, unique, and made to be played. Each instrument sounds unique and beautiful. The guitars are made with repurposed parts. The wood used is repurposed from floorboards from old houses. Partners,George Brin, our Luthier, Don Spaeth, and Anthony Foronda are passionate designers and musicians that want to bring back a taste of Americana to traditional musical instruments.
