This table was origionally designed for a show using materials that origionate withing 100 miles of the maker. I chose wood from my firewood pile. I now make this table out of many types of wood. Sadly they are not always available in my wood pile any more. This table stands 20" tall and has a triangular shaped top measuring close to 20" across. It has a very nice light feel to the table almost as if it was dancing. Yet it is sturdy and intended to last for many generations. I'm sure it would complement many types of aesthetics. and make a wonderful companion to a side chair or sofa. I gave a picture of the drawings I used in designing it. To show its beautiful symmetry. Please don't copy them. Cheers, jesse

Born and raised on Vancouver Island. I developed and interest for wood working with my Grandfather, a boat builder in Victoria B.C. I went on to study as a carpenter and then a Jointer at BCIT in Vancouver.
Upon completion of a 4 year apprenticeship I moved with my wife to Salt Spring Island B.C. Where I opened my own business,Custom Woodworks. Enjoying 16 years of success creating beautiful, unique pieces of furniture that have found homes around the world. I now find myself, my wife and three children living in Portland Oregon. In my SE Portland Studio I continue to enjoy my life's work feeling blessed that I have been able to make my dream come true!
