Root Dining Table*
The root table is the product of a collaboration between Willem Vonk and Christian Klein. Klein wanted a table to go along with the chairs he ordered for him and his wife, Christy, as an anniversary gift. The table legs are based on the root chair profile, while the three legged stance offers maximum stability on uneven ground. The table is unique in that it is currently developed as a three-seater, though a four-legged version is in the pipeline. Materials used are powder coated steel for the base with a Texas Walnut top. *Chairs not included

Local Editions is a company that focuses on local craftsmen and women using local indigenous materials to make heirloom quality products.
Local Editions Custom is for the clients who wanted something different from our product portfolio, something more unique and personal. We aim to provide them with heirloom quality products that are meant to be passed down through generations.
I am skilled in steel fabrication, woodwork, design and finish work, as are all the makers who work with me.
I am an Industrial Designer and LEED AP, who loves the design process, and I find it exceptionally important to include the client in the design process. Most of all I strive for client happiness.
