Solid Cherry Coffee Table With Burl Inlay And Harpin Legs
In Stock One Of A Kind Piece! This mr2 Signature Coffee or Accent Table is made from solid Cherry wood with an inlaid Burl accent and hair pin legs. The table is 48" Wide x 24" Deep x 19" High. The top is secured to the Raw Steel Hairpin Table Legs by solid cherry blocks attached to the top. All surfaces including the underside of the piece are completely finished. The piece is a mid century modern style. All of the surfaces are fine sanded and finished with multiple coats of Tung oil to bring out the beautiful grain patterns and textures. The top was made with cherry boards that were selected for their grain and color variations. Each piece was then cut and matched to create the structure and inlaid pattern. Each board has been secured with biscuits and compression gluing for maximum strength and joint integrity. The Hairpin Table Legs are secured to the table top with sixteen screws for maximum strength and stability a (See Underside). The table ships with the four Hairpin Table Legs packaged separately for safety and economy of shipping. Each piece is individually bubble wrapped and multiple layers of cardboard are used for maximum protection in shipping. Shipping and insurance costs are estimated for delivery to the West Coast. If the cost is less, a refund would be provided. mr² Woodworking also creates custom indoor and outdoor furniture, benches, cabinets and specialty wood items available thru CustomMade. Delivery Schedule
Based upon present backlogs, the delivery schedule will be extended on custom made pieces. Items in stock can also have an extended time period for shipment.

Each piece is hand made and individualized to meet each customers’ needs and requirements. I maintain close communications with each customer on the status including pictures as the piece is assembled and finished.
Any changes or improvements to the the piece are reviewed and approved prior to implementing each change.

I had a custom job request and even after approval of his drawing, he re-worked one small item to add stability to the book shelf (of which I never would have noticed nor thought-of, plus I already signed off on it - how often does that happen in life?!). He clearly cares about his work and shows judgment of a true professional. He sent me 4 samples of the stains to ensure I liked the color of the piece; he sent pictures throughout the process, at each step and I know I will love the piece after I open it. I haven't had a chance to open/inspect the final product due to work on my house but I would definitely work with him again (and will update my review after my house isn't torn apart).

For Custom Mr2 Solid Cherry Shadowbox Bookcase4.8My wife and I searched hard for a "Shadowbox Bookcase" for our living room. All we found were particle board monstrosities, or overpriced manufactured hollow versions. We wanted something in solid hardwood, preferably cherry. Rick provided this. His quote was reasonable, his design was exactly what we requested, and his communication was outstanding. He started and completed the project on schedule. Delivery was timely. There was a small glitch in the delivery, and Rick apologized profusely for this, but it was totally out of his control, and I believe him when he says that it had never happened before with this shipper. We managed to take delivery of the item, which was exceedingly well wrapped and protected. We are proud to have a custom piece of Rick Ricks craftsmanship in our living room.
