Reclaimed Bowling Alley Wood Coffee Table - Handmade In Denver
You need a truly unique coffee table. It's a conversation piece, looks great and is certainly useful! This is a reclaimed/upcycled bowling alley wood coffee table. The top has been refinished with lots of sanding and plenty of polyurethane. It has an nice, smooth finish. All the edges are knocked down with a router for a round edge. The wood is Long Leaf Pine and has a beautiful, light colored look. It's simple - I enjoy all things handmade. It started with a house. I spent a year on a full remodel of our home in Dallas, and once that was done, my attention turned to other hands-on, creative and repurposing projects.
I started with leather working and while that is still a favorite pastime, I've begun to thoroughly enjoy woodworking. There are two parts of the process that I really enjoy - first, the thrill of he hunt; finding used, weathered, or otherwise previously purposes wood. Then, I love watching it come to love all over again; wood that someone else has written off is turned into a beautiful table, stool, or other furniture.
