Made to last for years, they can be made in many configurations to suit most requirements (left or right side shelves; various dimensions, etc.). All flat surface welds are ground smooth for an attractive appearance, and wood edges are eased for the best utility and look.

A bit of (tongue-in-cheek) personal history:
When I was 9 years old, I stepped on a board with a rusty nail and became hooked on woodworking.
When I was 12 years old, I watched my father arc welding a project in his fabrication shop. After the blindness subsided, I bought a welding helmet and went to work . . .
The first time I accidentally hit my thumb with a hammer, I yelled at the top of my lungs in a foreign language. The second time, I went out and bought a smaller hammer.
If I had a dollar for every splinter I've pulled out of my hands, I could go to law school. Then I would be able to sue the trees.
