Live Edge Trestle Dining Table - Black Walnut
This table was sold already and is listed as an example piece of what I can make. Whether its a warm conversation with family and friends over dinner, or a productive meeting with colleagues, this black walnut table will add richness and beauty to each experience. Measuring over nine feet long, this table comfortably seats up to ten people. This table was made from a local tree that I personally removed from a family's backyard. I milled it in to boards, dried the lumber, and eventually created this artfully designed heirloom table.

For Cherry And Leather Counter Stool5.0The project came in on time, and exceeded expectations. I’m sitting at the bar next to my wife as I review the stool underneath me. Fantastic. Deborah’s chair is two inches taller than mine and she sits comfortably at the bar and I can look into her beautiful eyes. Something an off the shelf bar stool would not allow. I’m a big boy and Doug went out of his way to reinforce the joints, the support for the leather and they are strong, beautiful and comfortable. We will be commissioning more projects in the future. Did I mention the packing? Bullet proof. Got here well labeled and safe. First class all the way. I would recommend Doug without reservation.

For Knife Block Live Edge / Natural Edge / Tree Edge Magnetic5.0It's always risky when you hire some total stranger online for some custom pieces, since you can't be there to touch and examine the products. Photos can be difficult to gauge the skills of the hands behind the objects of the photos. This small project turns out to be exemplary. The chopping block and knife strip are well made, with attention to details. It's obvious McPherson took a lot of pride in his craft. And most of all, he was responsive in communication, and was able to offer suggestions when we made a drastic change and decided to go for an end grain chopping block and stripped pattern knife strip. With some exchanges of phone calls, texts, and photos, the products were made, and a couple of days later turned up at my porch, well packed and out to be beyond my expectation. Overall, this has been a very positive experience. The worst part: I may end up ordering some more pieces.... oops.
