Walnut Coffee Table Wishbone Leg Design. Modern, Mid-Century, Danish Design Influence.

$865

Wishbone Leg Coffee Table crafted of solid walnut. 40" x 40" x 18" as shown. The Wishbone Leg provides excellent support for larger square, oval or triangular tables. My goal in designing the Wishbone Leg was to give these larger tables a lighter, airy feeling. The tapered legs have a reveal in the front and back faces, using shadows to create even more visual interest. The legs are mounted at 45 degrees to the corners to provide interesting views from anywhere in the room! Like all of my designs, the Wishbone Legs are constructed with full mortise and tenon joinery for long-lasting strength. The legs incorporate a steel mounting plate which is bolted to the table top's threaded brass inserts. No wood screws to loosen over time! The Wishbone Leg tables ship knocked-down. All hardware is included. Assembly is fast and easy! The natural finish is an Oil/Varnish mix with an overcoat of Renaissance Wax buffed to a low luster.

I honed my aesthetic skills while attending The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. I spent 20 years working as an Engineer, where I developed a passion for quality. The constant thread throughout my life has been my love for making things. I "retired" from my Engineering Career to devote my full time efforts to designing and building furniture.

Wayward Home Furniture crafts furniture using a Small Batch Process. The common components of my furniture are made in multiples - allowing an economy of scale while still accommodating the customization my customers' request.

"Wayward" is defined as something which is unique, with a strong personality. You think of your home as being wayward, reflecting your unique personality; that's why you're shopping Custom Made!
