Modern Coffee Table, Boomerang Leg Design With Surfboard Top. Mid-Century, Danish Design Influence.
Boomerang Leg Coffee Table shown with Beech Top and Beech Legs. 52" (L) x 20" (W) x 15" (H). I designed this coffee table to fit into your Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian or Minimalist space! I've always had an affinity for designs with a lot of curves - the boomerang shape is one of the most versatile forms for furniture design. I've paired these Boomerang Legs with an elongated Surfboard shaped top for added curve appeal. The effect is a piece with great visual activity! The Beech legs feature full mortise and tenon joinery for lasting strength. Each leg attaches to the top via 3 bolts through a welded top-plate into threaded brass inserts. The solid Beech top is 7/8" thick and has a dynamic curve in its length. The natural finish is Danish Oil with an overcoat of Renaissance Wax buffed to a low luster.
