Rush-seated chairs wear out. Nantucket Tie Chic reweaves those seats with neckties. I can make you a custom chair, footstool or child's rocker with your loved ones old ties! Or I can use mine, customizing colors, themes and personal enthusiasms. For instance, a sailor could have a sailboat tie woven in. My ties and chair/stool frames are all upcycled. if you have a specific idea of what you want--I can do it! I've recently sold a tuffet with the top covered in tie tips. If your chairs have separate seats, they can be shipped to me and redone. Cushions can be added under the weave, too.

Area served: I'm on Nantucket Island off the coast of Massachusetts. Bring your chair while vacationing and I'll get it done. Or you can pick up one I've finished for you. Otherwise, I ship. Shipping Methods: UPS. Price to be determined by piece.
