Located in Midland, Michigan, KnotChiseled is the creation of Nathaniel O’Shaughnessey.
We are committed to using only the best materials for the products we make. We are lucky enough to be located in an area that grows some highly figured hardwoods. Our rich soil, ample lakes and rivers and diverse seasonal changes cause our trees to yield some very strong, yet highly figured grain. Most of the pieces we make start as large logs from these trees as their first life is completed. We take pride in taking things that would rot on the ground or go up a chimney and create inspiring and useful objects for people to use and enjoy for a lifetime, or more.
