Rick and Kathi at Blue Duck Creations are THE BEST ! I was looking for someone to try and duplicate a very particular leather tophat from a picture I had found. I don't think they could have possibly done it any better. It was absolutely perfect and Rick was very methodical and involved in the process from start to finish. If he had any questions about what I wanted he would ask before proceeding. He didn't just assume. He was extremely pleasant to work with as well. I would highly recommend Blue Duck Creations to anyone. So if you have a project that needs a custom attention, look them up. You WON'T be disappointed.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Blue Duck Creations on this wallet. They were in constant communication with me through the design and crafting of the wallet to make sure that i got exactly what I was looking for. The wallet is perfect and looks so good that I almost hate putting it to use. I highly recommend you consider Rick and Kathi for any leather projects that you are considering.

I loved working with Kathi and Rick at Blue Duck Creations. They created a beautiful leather wallet as a gift for my son. They included every detail I requested and kept me advised of their progress with e-mails and photos. Communication was great. The quality of the leather they chose was great and the workmanship was amazing. I needed to make a change to the design of the wallet and they made the change without hesitation. They completed the project in plenty of time for my deadline, even though I asked for a change in the design midway through their progress. I recommend using Blue Duck Creations and I will definitely be using them in the future.

Could not ask for a better experience! Rick asked very detailed questions along the way and made a few suggestions so I could ensure I was getting exactly what I wanted. The project was completed in a few days and shipped and received two days later. I highly recommend them.

They clearly believe in the philosophy of measuring twice and cutting once. They assured that they were making exactly what I wanted in the leather wallet by creating a drawing, checking sizes, sending photographs and keeping me in the loop every step of the way. The leather used on the wallet was a soft, very nice quality leather that I'm sure will last for many years. Rick and Kathi at Blue Duck Creations did great work with my folio project. From start to finish, they understood what I describe and gave me a detailed diagram with plenty of option to make sure every detail was exactly how I wanted it. Throughout the building process, Rick kept me updated and gave even more ideas and possibilities for every last detail. By the end of the process, I was not able to decide on a couple of options without seeing things first hand. After talking with Rick, I felt he understood the style of things that I liked. I totally trusted him to make the final small detail decisions for me. Once receiving the folio, I found that Rivk had made all of the same choices I would have on the finishing details. The final payment and shipping process was a little hectic, on their side, from what I understand. But the problems seemed to come from the website and some of its technical difficulties. Once that was worked out. I received my new handmade folio in just a couple short days. I would definitely recommend Blue Duck Creations to anyone wanting premier leather work.

I'm very happy with the product and the communication that Blue Duck Creations provided. They were great keeping me updated during the creation of my bourbon box, and provided an excellent product. They even helped my "tweak" it after receiving the item which I thought was great. Thank you for making my best man gift a one of a kind! Lawrence

I cannot believe how outstanding Rick and Kathi of Blue Duck Creations were when helping me get my vintage leather cuff, surprise gift right. I gave really rough sketchy photos of the original of how I wanted it to look, and I wasn’t expecting miracles, but Rick and Kathi delivered exactly that. The leather cuffs they made for me are amazing and the likeness to original was everything I wanted and more. They were extremely helpful throughout, giving me suggestions of different materials I could use and lots of different advice but all within keeping to my personal preferences. Their eye for detail is just amazing, the cuff was designed with such care and attention and the end result looks absolutely brilliant. I received great communication throughout the process, which gave me peace of mind and I knew I was being looked after at all times. They were very patient and allowed me to make changes even at short notice. The price was great for all the work involved, and the wonderful customer service I received. I am so lucky to have found Rick and Kathi and I cannot thank you enough for all of your hard work, and for especially making this gift perfect in every way. I couldn’t have wished for more. Amazing attention to detail and customer service. The best personal experience on the making of this fabulous bag!

It was a pleasure working with Blue Duck Creations! We were looking for a custom chess board that utilized Columbia University and NYU's school colors. They were consistently keeping us updated on how the project was going and went above and beyond our vision. Communication was excellent and the finished product was magnificent.
