Canal Side Custom Woodworks specializes in unique, artistic wood creations. We enjoy the thrill of creating one-of-kind designs that have never been done before; there is something uniquely satisfying about the personal touch imbued in a piece of custom wood art that mass-produced pieces can simply never duplicate.
We have many of our own designs for various types of furniture and cabinetry, though we are also excited to work on whatever new ideas clients have. As artists, we insist on the highest quality in our creations because we will settle for nothing less.
About the owner and head craftsman, Michael McClure: I have my Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design and have been working either on the side, or professionally for the last eighteen years. I also pursue my artistic interests outside of woodworking: I enjoy photography and drawing as other mediums through which to explore imaginative creation.

Maker Policies
Shipping Policy
We ship anywhere in the continental United States. We use the best and most appropriate (and hopefully most cost effective) shipping method.

Maker Policy
Work will not begin until the down payment has been received and you have signed (therefore showing agreement to) the design drawings. Any subsequent changes must be approved in writing. In addition you understand any changes to this agreement will change the agreed upon amount. Since each piece is made to order, we are unable to accept returns unless it is a production error. However, we do everything possible to ensure the highest quality and we aim to provide excellent customer service. Orders can only be cancelled if work has not begun yet.
