yea, you read it right. the wood was salvaged in the 11th hour from a deconstructed house in middletown ct. the holes are where the outlets and light switches were. the base is what used to hold up a cocktail table video game from the 1980s. both pieces are byproducts of other recent reclaimed projects of mine. they wanted to be together. the wood had been shellacked, the base has been ground clean here and there. it's adjustable from 17" to 21" high. the bench seat is about 44" long and 13ish" wide. it's all kinds of awesome. shipping is via greyhound express. this means you need to pick it up at your nearest greyhound bus station. make sure that's doable before buying. pickup/delivery and other options are available. contact me to discuss prior to purchase. thanks for looking! -tim

from conception, to making it to sweeping up, i am a one-man operation - by design.

my work is not for everyone. my customers are people who want truly unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that are made fairly and ethically from locally salvaged materials - with as small a footprint as i can muster.

i will make and ship things all over the united states (depending on size) but i prefer to work regionally (Boston to NYC and thereabouts).

    I can't say enough how impressed I was with Tim and his constant communication to ensure the wooden chest he made for me was exactly what I wanted. I was so unsure of what wood I wanted so he sent me pics of different choices and finally we found a winner! My wooden storage chest has a proud place in our 1892 farmhouse.

    Tim did an amazing job on my bedframe and headboard. He is so talented! The finished project exceeded my expectations. It is so beautiful!! I can't recommend Tim enough. He was professional and kept me in the loop throughout the process. He provided pictures and even filmed a short video for me. Tim also installed the bed in my home and made sure that it was extremely secure. Tim was so thoughtful throughout the process, even doing little things like making sure the top of the bedframe was sanded smoothly so that I don't get a splinter while making the bed and tucking the bedsheets. He is one talented guy.

    I love my table, it's exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful, unique, sturdy, and tells a story. Tim was a pleasure to work with. Communication was quick and pleasant, and the entire project was finished ahead of schedule with zero problems. Since he had to ship it across the country, he built it in such a way to ship it most economically, which was greatly appreciated.     Tim was such a great person to work with on this project. I had an idea to create a custom Scotch Cabinet for my Husband's wedding gift and Tim brought this idea to life. He listened to my ideas and was able to create exactly what I envisioned.
