These screens are EXAMPLES only. The photos are from previous orders. They demonstrate what the possiblities are for a custom made fireplace screen. Though the designs are not limited to trees. The imagery can be just about anything you can imagine…. dragons, flowers, animals, buildings…. etc etc etc…. you get the idea… If you are interested in ordering a unique custom fireplace screen, there may be orders ahead of you, so its best to find out what our lead time is before ordering….. We require a small design fee of $150.00. This covers the work of two sketches and one final. Design fees pay for the hours required to sketch ideas and concepts for you to view. If an order is placed, the design fee will be refunded on the final payment of your project. If no orders are placed, no design fee refund. Pricing of any new project is driven by the amount of time it takes to create your art piece. (Material + Time = Cost) ($500.00 minimum on all orders) Price equation is for any new custom order: Cost of material + time to create = price of a screen. A great example, when asked about your budget, is, if you are looking to buy a car or a house, the sales person/realtor asks you what price range are you looking to purchase…. Budgets help me to determine designs. When designing your screen, I am considering how much time and material it will take for me to create your piece. What, if any, type of 'scene' you would like. material such as steel or bronze, do you want copper leaves with a green patina…. These custom made screen examples run between $1800 to $9000 depending on the size and how much time it takes to create an image for the screen. The embossing process into the metal is hand hammered.
