Leather Machete Sheath - W/Sling Attachments
This sheath is made for a 24 inch machete. I used 8-9 oz veg-tan leather - and a welt was added for edge and stitch protection. The designs on the face and the quote on the back were hand tooled. All three layers are cemented and hand stitched with waxed linen thrread for a smart hold. The leather is molded to the machete for a tight hold and a fast draw. It is stained with eco-friendly dye and finished with a professional clear coat. Two steel D-rings are located on the back for a sling attachment. I made this sheath for my friend that spends most of his time in the country. He wanted a rugged sheath that was also nice to admire. I just think he likes to run around in the forest thinking that he is Aragon from The Lord of Rings.
