This reception currently resides at the Kensington Metro Park Nature Center outside of Detroit, Michigan. It is wrapped in reclaimed mixed hardwoods salvaged from a local barn in West Michigan. Some of the wood types include; oak, beech, maple, cherry, hickory, and elm. The work surface is clear powder coated sheet steel. The front transaction counter is cut from a single 1x14" piece of beech. Acrylic accent panels infused with twigs, reeds, grasses, and ferns, are set on 1" aluminum offsets giving the surface more depth and connect is to its natural surroundings outside the nature center.     Daniel Chase of redwell was extremely professional throughout the design process as well as the delivery process. He personally installed the table in our new office along with his assistant. Entire interaction was very professional and they did a wonderful job. The end product is a large beautiful conference room table for our new office in a renovated historic church!
