Solid Live Edge American Elm Slab 4" Thick Hand Turned Legs
This coffee table is SOLID. I have a few more of these slabs available. The slices came from the base of a huge burly American Elm tree. They measure 4" thick and average around 40" in diameter. The figure on the top is beautiful and the colors range from blue to gray to chocolate. The live edge has been lightly sanded to be friendly to the touch but still retain it's natural beauty. The legs are turned from 3" thick solid stock. They have a slight taper and the top is mortised into the slab. This table is also available in an oxidized version which takes on a deep dark gray to black tone.

Hawkandstone is a furniture design and fabrication shop. We come from a background in kinetic architecture and product design. We specialize in custom hand made furniture and small run productions. We work with clients directly as well as interior designers and architects.
We are located in Southern California and have access to some amazing local woods. We try to get most of our wood from salvaged trees and reclaimed lumber from old local buildings.
