Orange And Chocolate Coffee Table- Live Edge Coffee Table- Modern Coffee Table- Bright Orange
This orange and chocolate colored coffee table will brighten up any space! It's an extremely colorful, modern and cool handmade piece of live edge furniture. The top is a single slab of live edge black walnut. The wood has been kiln dried, planed flat, sanded smooth and finished in poly for protection. I cut this piece into two, allowing the negative space throughout the middle. The table is held together with flat bar steel stitches running through the middle. The stitches and the u-shape steel bases were both powder coated in a bright orange color. Dark brown and orange go well together and this interesting piece is proof. If seeking a unique, petite, bright, cheerful, interesting, colorful, strong and handmade coffee table…this little stick of orange and chocolate dynamite is ready to ship! Measures: 26 3/4" l x 17 1/2" w x 17" H. The walnut top is a solid 1 3/4" thick.

Kentucky LiveEdge is operated by craftsman Drew Gahafer. He creates quality live edge furniture and unique applications for home and office.
Drew Gahafer is a self-taught woodworker, artist and furniture designer that got his start by upcycling furniture that was either thrown away, neglected, or purchased for mere pennies at yard sales or consignment shops. Plastics, glass, metals and wood were all materials that he was intrigued on refurbishing and building with. In 2008 he built his family home, which was a narrow shotgun style house. After weeks of housing the traditional square coffee table, he realized the dimensions took up 1/3 of the rooms space. In an effort to create something customized for his home space, he traveled back to his roots and brought back 2 narrow live edge slabs from a sawmill in Eastern Kentucky. By the time his first two pieces were near completion, his family and friends made offers on both pieces. He obliged and returned to the mountains for 5 live edge slabs of wood. Once those 5 were near completion, same story. To this day, his home lacks a coffee table.
