Catalpa And Walnut Live Edge Coffee Table- Small Coffee Table- Natural Wood- Gold- Brown- Chocolate

$495

This Catalpa and Walnut live edge coffee table is DIFFERENT! The Catalpa has a gold and light tan color and the walnut (running through the middle) contrasts with a dark chocolate brown. It's a small coffee table that would work well in a confined living room or den. The wood comes from two urban reclaimed logs and has been kiln dried, planed flat, sanded smooth and finished in a satin poly. The top rests on four steel hairpin legs giving it a versatile style & able to fit into any home decor. It's a cool piece of furniture made from reclaimed materials. I guarantee you won't see another one :). Measures: 27 1/4" L x 18" W x 17 3/4" H. The wooden top is a solid 2" thick.

Kentucky LiveEdge is operated by craftsman Drew Gahafer. He creates quality live edge furniture and unique applications for home and office.

Drew Gahafer is a self-taught woodworker, artist and furniture designer that got his start by upcycling furniture that was either thrown away, neglected, or purchased for mere pennies at yard sales or consignment shops. Plastics, glass, metals and wood were all materials that he was intrigued on refurbishing and building with. In 2008 he built his family home, which was a narrow shotgun style house. After weeks of housing the traditional square coffee table, he realized the dimensions took up 1/3 of the rooms space. In an effort to create something customized for his home space, he traveled back to his roots and brought back 2 narrow live edge slabs from a sawmill in Eastern Kentucky. By the time his first two pieces were near completion, his family and friends made offers on both pieces. He obliged and returned to the mountains for 5 live edge slabs of wood. Once those 5 were near completion, same story. To this day, his home lacks a coffee table.
