Mr² Woodworking Signature Sofa Or Side Tables
New Item Available Ready For Shipment! The mr² Woodworking Signature Sofa or Side Tables was designed with very high tops. The height and slim straight line design gives the table a very distinctive look and allows it to be used in a variety of ways. In addition, the extra height allows table lamps to replace floor lamps for reading. The table shown in Cherry with satin finish and standard hardware is in stock. It was stained and multiple coats of clear satin lacquer was applied to bring out the grain and beauty of the wood. The table is 16" wide x 11 1/8" deep x 27 1/2' tall. The table has one drawer that is 8 1/4"L x 8 1/4" W x 4 1/2 D. Custom sizes are also available upon request. The table can be stained or painted a solid color of your choice. Please provide the stain/color and finish (satin, semi-gloss or gloss) when ordering. Please note if you want to choose your hardware when ordering. These pieces are custom built which takes 3-4 weeks if not in stock. The pieces is made from solid Poplar (no veneer) which has been planed and hand sanded to minimize loss of wood and bring out all the unique beauty of the wood. The piece is constructed using wood pocket screws. A total of thirty two screws were used to connect the pieces. Shipping and insurance costs are estimated for delivery to the West Coast. If less, a refund is provided when shipped.

Based upon present backlogs, the delivery schedule will be extended on custom made pieces. Items in stock can also have an extended time period for shipment.

Each piece is hand made and individualized to meet each customers’ needs and requirements. I maintain close communications with each customer on the status including pictures as the piece is assembled and finished.
Any changes or improvements to the the piece are reviewed and approved prior to implementing each change.

I had a custom job request and even after approval of his drawing, he re-worked one small item to add stability to the book shelf (of which I never would have noticed nor thought-of, plus I already signed off on it - how often does that happen in life?!). He clearly cares about his work and shows judgment of a true professional. He sent me 4 samples of the stains to ensure I liked the color of the piece; he sent pictures throughout the process, at each step and I know I will love the piece after I open it. I haven't had a chance to open/inspect the final product due to work on my house but I would definitely work with him again (and will update my review after my house isn't torn apart).

For Custom Mr2 Solid Cherry Shadowbox Bookcase4.8My wife and I searched hard for a "Shadowbox Bookcase" for our living room. All we found were particle board monstrosities, or overpriced manufactured hollow versions. We wanted something in solid hardwood, preferably cherry. Rick provided this. His quote was reasonable, his design was exactly what we requested, and his communication was outstanding. He started and completed the project on schedule. Delivery was timely. There was a small glitch in the delivery, and Rick apologized profusely for this, but it was totally out of his control, and I believe him when he says that it had never happened before with this shipper. We managed to take delivery of the item, which was exceedingly well wrapped and protected. We are proud to have a custom piece of Rick Ricks craftsmanship in our living room.
