Blue Bench
Entry bench in ash and dyed maple. The ash structure has a white toned clear coat. The top has been dyed and glazed with blue color coats. The top is made of curly maple, sometimes called 'fiddleback' maple. The figure is highly prized--very active with highlights and lowlights and great depth. This is representative of this piece. Every board is slightly different, and will take the color is subtly different ways. Bench measures 43" L x 14" W x 17" H

I have been building furniture and making
limited edition accessories since 1990. I received formal training in England, and currently share shop space in a cooperative studio in St. Paul, MN.
My work is a mixture of custom furniture and limited edition accessories. I have a line of jewelry boxes that are in stock and ready to ship. I also produce several set designs of small tables and benches.
In addition to the residential furniture and accessory pieces, I also have completed a number of liturgical commissions. I strive to produce designs and render pieces that are simple, nuanced, and enduring.
