Maple Entertainment Center
This is a two section entertainment center created as per customer order. It was designed to fit a certain location in their living room, where the wall was at an angle. The two sections were designed by me, with customer approval, to fit together at the required angle of the wall The "panels" are a heavy quality speaker cloth, the knobs are brushed satin, hinges are barrel hinges completely hidden. The bottom section of the tallest section has a curved lip as well as curved doors and curved drawer fronts. There is a secret compartment built into each unit. The larger unit is designed for a small flat screen TV, surround system, DVD; the smaller unit is designed to function solely as a bookcase/display case. All moldings are handcrafted in my shop. The finish for this piece is TransTint Vintage Maple and General Finishes Java Gel with Pre-Cat Lacquer (Gloss) The larger unit is 87" Tall x 37" Wide by 18" Deep. The smaller unit is 81" Tall x 24" Wide x 15 1/2" Deep

I create heirloom quality custom furniture and gifts. I have completed commissioned pieces for individuals and a military museum. Each piece is created with fine details and craftsmanship.
Each piece of furniture is made of the type of wood that is chosen by the customer. I have designed and created pieces to fit customers' homes and have also created pieces that are made per professional plans. I have created architectural accent pieces at the request of a customer who was renovating a historical home.
Customer will also have the choice of finish and hardware. Any other detail requested by the customer will be discussed prior to beginning the actual project.

Photos arrived at every step,from picking the wood to where inlays would be.the finish product arrived early (very nice the completion date drop dead set). For Cherry And Purpleheart 2 Drawer Jewelry Box5.0I had been looking to have a jewelry box built for my wife that we could tuck into the shelves on the closet system in our house, and while searching the web came across a project that Al Wilson, The Oakman, has listed on the CustomMade marketplace. This looked like the best fit for what I wanted so I put together my request with dimensions and some options and sent it off. Al got back to me quite fast and we went over the project and some suggestions he had. We thought his suggestions and options for dividers and ring rails were spot on and went ahead with the contract. Al kept us informed all along the way and finished the project a few days ahead of the original commitment date. The jewelry box was shipped in really perfect packaging and had no damage or issues. And the jewelry box is absolutely beautiful - the workmanship and details are perfect, the finish is perfect. There are small details like the bevel on the drawer edges that really show the attention to detail that went into the box. Al does fantastic work and if I ever need something that he can build I will not hesitate to get in touch again. You should too.
