Solid Wood Turned Lamp
This is a hand crafted solid walnut turned lamp. I turn these lamps in my workshop with a number of shapes and the lamps are fully wired with solid brass fittings. The lamp pictured itself is 19" high and the base is 7 1/2" in diameter. With a 9" high shade ( pictured) the lamp has a total height of 28" It will arrive wired and with all parts needed except for the shade. The height can be customized for your needs. The piece is finished with 6 coats of hand rubbed oil and can be built in cherry, walnut, maple, birch, or oak depending on customer desires. Pricing will depend on the size requested and species of wood

I am a custom furniture maker. I work out of my shop in northwest Connecticut and source most of my wood locally.
My handcrafted furniture designs are inspired by mid-century-modern, Nakashima, shaker and arts & crafts designs. I strive to design and build with simple and beautiful lines in mind and celebrate both the wood grain and joinery. I finish my furniture pieces with natural oil finishes, each coat hand rubbed and never anything that will hide the beauty of the wood surfaces.
I work with customers on original designs for them as well as designs based on existing pieces. I develop 3D CAD designs to review with clients. They are always welcome to see photographs of the work in progress.
